According to the 2024 National Youth Tobacco Survey, e-cigarette use among middle and high school students declined over the past year. This is the lowest level of e-cigarette use in a decade. However, e-cigarettes continue to be the most popular product used by youth and young adults. In this interactive session, we will discuss the impact of nicotine on the developing brain, the tobacco industry’s development of new products to lure youth, such as nicotine pouches, and treatment strategies and resources to help youth and young adults quit when they are ready.
