In this two-hour online discussion, we will explore key concepts such as traumatic stress, triggers, hypervigilance, dissociation, attachment, resilience, and post-traumatic growth. Participants will examine how horror narratives reflect real-world responses to trauma, distinguish between accurate and inaccurate portrayals of trauma, and consider how media shapes public perceptions of survivors. Participants will deepen their understanding of trauma-informed principles while gaining a fresh perspective on the psychological and cultural significance of horror films.
