TheWomen and Family Referral Center (WFRC) provides support and information toanyone in Massachusetts with questions about substance use disorder (SUD)treatment for pregnant and parenting people. WFRC staff conducts telephone screening andassessment guided by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteriato assure the appropriate level of care for each person. Family in need and are eligible for familyresidential treatment or family supportive living. WFRC staff directlyfacilitate placement. For other levelsof treatment (Acute Treatment, Community Support, Outpatient,Pregnancy-Enhanced Residential, WFRC staff will provide a facilitated referral.
