The Institute for Health and Recovery (IHR), in partnership with Salemwood School, offers support to enrolled Salemwood students in grades 4–8 who may be experiencing, or at risk for, mental health, substance use, behavioral, academic, family, or community challenges.

The program connects eligible students and families with individualized, culturally responsive support, including needs assessment, case management, mentoring, family services, education support, and enrichment/psychoeducation groups. The program is offered year-round, and facilitates vacation and summertime community-based youth and family activities. TIP staff also collaborate with Salemwood personnel to strengthen support for students during the school year.

Eligibility: Students in grades 4–8 enrolled at Salemwood School who are considered “at risk” due to challenges at school, at home, or in the community.
