Healthy M.E.

Healthy M.E.

This prevention project collaborates with Cambridge Health Alliance to target young people 13–24 in Malden and Everett, focusing on African-American, Latino, and foreign-born youth at high risk for substance use and HIV/VH. Healthy M.E. staff facilitates prevention groups using the evidence-based Street Smart curriculum, in schools, after-school, community development, and housing programs. Healthy M.E. provides HIV testing and links to service, and runs a peer leadership program, which assists Healthy M.E. staff with running community health fairs and maintaining a social media presence.
