COVID-19: Our Work Continues

Here to Help

We at the Institute for Health & Recovery are working hard to protect our staff, clients, and colleagues, shifting how we offer services in this unprecedented time and we want to let you, an important member of the IHR family, know what we’re doing. For 30 years, we have supported family recovery in Massachusetts, offering counseling and therapy to families, and training and technical assistance to providers. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed, as it has for so many of you, the way we do everything. But we want you to know we are still providing all services and taking new referrals.

Our Work Continues

IHR continues to work all over the state. Many of our direct services to clients are being delivered via telehealth — using phone, Skype, and other apps to maintain support for clients, such as doxy.me and google hangouts. We understand that this is an extremely challenging time for families with substance use, mental health, and trauma issues, and we invite you to reach out to our intake coordinator at 857-285-6264 if you are seeking outpatient counseling. You can also call our central numbers below with questions about any of our services, including outpatient, family engagement/child welfare, homeless, and Moms Do Care. For Project Promise, please call or text Jennifer at 781-974-7787. Information regarding ATR statewide can be found at www.ma-atr.org.

We also continue to offer technical assistance, training, and support to BSAS-funded programs statewide via phone and Zoom. And we are continuing to feature and upload trainings to our website. Please call our central office number at 617-661-3991 or toll free at 866-705-2807 as our front desk receptionist is continuing to direct calls from these numbers. If you need support for your program from IHR’s trauma team, parenting staff, tobacco education team, or our early childhood experts, we are here for you!
