IHR’s Director of Recovery to Participate in “Driving Change with Primary Care”

Latisha Goullaud, Director of Recovery at the Institute for Health and Recovery (IHR), will participate in a multi-stakeholder reaction panel at Driving Change with Primary Care: Creating a Healthier Commonwealth, a special convening hosted by the Massachusetts Health Council (MHC) on June 17, 2026 in Boston, Mass.

The event will bring together members of the Health Policy Commission’s Task Force, health leaders from across the healthcare ecosystem, elected officials, and cross-sector stakeholders to discuss strategies for strengthening primary care and improving health outcomes across Massachusetts.

As a member of the reaction panel, Goullaud will share her expertise and perspective on efforts to stabilize and strengthen primary care, as well as the challenges and opportunities involved in improving access and service delivery. Drawing on her experience as a perinatal recovery coach on an integrated, multidisciplinary primary care team at a federally qualified health center in Lynn, she will contribute insights on the role of recovery support services within whole-person, community-based healthcare.

Goullaud’s participation reflects IHR’s commitment to advancing integrated approaches that address substance use, recovery, and overall health. By contributing frontline perspectives to statewide conversations about healthcare transformation, IHR helps ensure that the needs and experiences of individuals and families affected by substance use are represented in efforts to build a healthier Commonwealth.
