This training is designed to provide participants with hands-on practical experience in providing trauma-informed care through interactive activities and problem-focused case examples. This training provides participants with practical experience in implementing interventions and techniques introduced in the training A Comprehensive Introduction to Psychological Trauma.  The focus of this training is on reflective practice and skills-building.  Participants will learn how to implement grounding and self-soothing techniques, ways to improve present-moment awareness, strategies for preventing and managing crises in the workplace, as well as strategies for developing resiliency and preventing secondary trauma.  

1 CEU credit will be offered for this training (LADC, CADC, LMHC, SW)
